The Nordic index ended flat in a quarter of licensing deals and phase III misses
The Nordic HC SEK GI rose 0.27 per cent in Q3 2026 while the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index gained 8.37 per cent. The two largest Nordic companies each took a phase III miss in July, then delivered on earnings: Novo raised its full-year outlook and AstraZeneca reconfirmed guidance. Three of Q3's four largest transactions were licences.
