Andreas Lindblom is the co-founder of Sciety, bringing over 25 years of experience across healthcare, finance, and technology. With degrees in Physiotherapy from Karolinska Institutet and Applied Physics from Stockholm University, he bridges the gap between clinical care and technical innovation. His diverse background includes establishing a premier surgical simulation center and founding a robotic trading firm. Andreas is dedicated to helping Nordic life science companies reach their full potential through strategic growth and mentorship.
Karin Leire
Karin Leire is an Investment Director at Segulah Medical Acceleration (SMA), a specialist investment firm focused on medtech and medical technologies. She brings over 20 years of experience in clinical research, market access, strategy, and business development across the pharma and medtech industries. Prior to joining SMA, Karin spent several years consulting for Nordic life science companies and served globally as the Vice President of Research & Innovation at Permobil.
Laurent Pacheco
Dr. Laurent Pacheco is an MD/PhD and healthcare investor representing Solas BioVentures and the International Family Offices Alliance for Health (IFOAH). With a career spanning Paris, London, and New York, Dr. Pacheco specializes in bridging the gap between clinical science and diverse capital structures. At Solas, he focuses on early-to-mid-stage biotech and medtech opportunities, while his leadership at IFOAH empowers family offices to engage deeply with the healthcare ecosystem.
A health economist by training and a former consultant for PwC and Syneos Health, he brings a ”360-degree” perspective to healthcare entrepreneurship and market access.
Maria Nyåkern
Maria Nyåkern is the founder of and investor at Nyakern Nexus Investments, a family office dedicated to life sciences, medtech, and knowledge-intensive ventures. A former cell biology researcher and entrepreneur, Maria brings over 20 years of expertise in clinical research, regulatory strategy, and international business development.
As the founder of ÅKRN Scientific Consulting (acquired by Archimed/NAMSA in 2022), she has guided companies from early-stage development to commercialization. Her work centers on establishing clinical evidence, optimizing capital efficiency, and navigating the complexities of European regulatory frameworks.
Maria also serves on several global and European expert panels focused on medical technology and AI. Her current research explores the intersection of AI and healthcare, specifically regarding its impact on decision-making, liability, and the evolution of future health innovations.
Nina Rawal
Dr. Nina Rawal is a venture capital investor and strategic advisor with 25 years of experience spanning science, venture investing, industry, and consulting. She is the founder of emerging health ventures, an advisory platform advancing life science innovation for underserved patients, and serves on the investment committee of We Venture Capital.

With 20 years in the Life Science and Healthcare industry, Stina is an experienced business leader, investor and board director with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for customer outcomes.

Ulrica Slåne Bjerne
Slåne Bjerke has the overall responsibility for Arctic Aurora LifeScience and Arctic Aurora Biotech Select investment portfolio. She has ca 30 years of successful track record as a Portfolio Manager in Health Care and has been a top ranked Health care Analyst for (10 years). Slåne Bjerke has an MBASc, CEFA, with a degree from Stockholm School of Economics and Medicine at the Karolinska Institute.
Kristofer Klerfalk
Kristofer Klerfalk is a Uppsala-based serial entrepreneur and business angel with a strong passion for supporting first-time entrepreneurs. He is a pharmacist, and most of his entrepreneurial career has been connected to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology, but in recent years he has also co-founded companies such as Qlerify and the three latest LSI funds; Delta, Epsilon Zeta. Kristofer has extensive board experience from both the business sector and from non-profit organizations and foundations that promote entrepreneurship.
Hugo Mörse
Hugo Mörse is a partner at Bonit Capital and Managing Director of Leksell Social Ventures, through which the Leksell family invests its capital. The Leksell family, known for founding the medical technology company Elekta, is among Sweden’s most respected players in Life Science. Hugo leads the family’s investments both commercially (via Bonit Capital) and socially (via Leksell Social Ventures). With significant resources behind him, he focuses on supporting innovative companies and projects in the health sector, in line with his long-term commitment to medical advancement and societal benefit.
Fredrik Andersson
Intelligence analyst turned media executive, Fredrik has more than a decade of executive leadership experience building and leading digital information, education and data services businesses across multiple European markets, with a particular focus on healthcare.
Alongside his executive career, Fredrik is an active angel investor in life science and technology. He works closely with founders and leadership teams on strategy, commercialization and growth, with a particular interest in businesses at the intersection of healthcare, technology and data.
Melissa Simon
Melissa Simon is a Partner at Wieland Capital, having joined the investment firm in 2023. She brings extensive experience in healthcare investing and corporate finance, specializing in Pharma, Life Sciences, and Health Tech.
Prior to joining Wieland Capital, Simon spent seven years managing investments for a prominent Munich-based family office, directing capital toward high-growth life science ventures. Earlier in her career, she held diverse finance and operational roles across the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, including positions at Sandoz/Hexal, PACT, and JenaValve Technologies.
