Eva Dahlén

Dr. Eva Dahlén holds a position as Global Evaluation Director, Search & Evaluation at Novo Nordisk. In this capacity, she takes a leading role in overseeing and managing partnering activities in diabetes. Eva has several year’s experience in S&E across a range of technology areas, including RNA & gene therapy, oral and alternative delivery of biologics, and AI/ML-enabled target and drug discovery. She has led numerous due diligences, including those leading to partnerships with Ascendis Pharma and Valo Health. Prior to Novo Nordisk, Eva held various positions in business development and R&D at the immuno-oncology company, Alligator Bioscience. She has a scientific background in immunology and oncology and holds a Ph.D. in immunology.

Andreas Dirnagl

Andreas Dirnagl is the Head of Healthcare Strategy and Senior Client Advisor at DNB Bank, bringing more than 30 years of experience across corporate banking, equity research, and financial advisory in the healthcare sector. Based in New York, he advises clients across life sciences and healthcare, supporting global market strategies and cross-border expansion.

Dirnagl began his career in corporate banking at Deutsche Bank, where he helped establish the firm’s inaugural U.S. healthcare strategy. He subsequently transitioned to sell-side equity research covering healthcare, later serving as the Global Head of Healthcare Services Coverage at J.P. Morgan. Prior to joining DNB, Dirnagl spent roughly a decade at MUFG as the Global Head of Healthcare Research and Strategy, leading a coverage expansion that scaled the healthcare business from 40 clients and $60 million annually to more than 140 clients and $270 million.

Camilla Harder Hartvig

Camilla Harder Hartvig is an accomplished international life science executive, board professional, and angel investor with 30 years of commercial and operational experience across the global pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. She specializes in bridging commercial execution with breakthrough healthcare innovation within the Nordic ecosystem.

Camilla is a passionate champion for female health and equity in funding. She serves as co-board leader at Angella Invest and Group Leader for the Women’s Health and Life Science group, driving capital toward underserved innovations. Her extensive leadership includes roles as Executive Vice President & CCO at Ascendis Pharma and Theramex, a pharmaceutical company solely dedicated to women’s health.
She actively sits on several boards, serving as Chairperson for MagCath ApS—which recently CE-marked an innovative device addressing female stress urinary incontinence—and as a board member for Nasdaq-listed FluoGuide A/S and Navamedic ASA.

Georgina Askeland

Georgina joined Hadean as an Investment Analyst in 2020. She holds an MBA from Quantic and a PhD in molecular biology from UCL and the University of Oslo, where her research focused on Huntington’s Disease. Her career spans scientific publishing, science writing for the UK Medical Research Council, and innovation consulting, where she secured over €1m in non-dilutive funding for health start-ups.

Anesa Mulabecirovic Sahnoun

Anesa Mulabecirovic Sahnoun, MD, PhD, MBA, is a physician and healthcare portfolio manager at DNB Asset Management in Oslo, where she built and leads DNB Fund Women’s Health, the world’s first actively managed global equity fund dedicated to women’s health.

She designed the fund’s investment universe starting with biology: conditions that affect women exclusively, disproportionately or differently. She then mapped listed companies across therapeutics, diagnostics, medical technology, healthcare services and consumer health. Her work centres on where those biological differences translate into durable commercial value in public markets.

Anesa has a clinical background in internal medicine and holds a PhD in medicine from the University of Bergen and King’s College. Her research earned her the EFSUMB Young Investigator Award. She has served on the boards of several European and Norwegian medical societies. Before joining DNB in 2021, she worked in venture capital, investing in healthcare companies.

Pekka Simula

Pekka is a Founding Partner of Innovestor Life Science, a Nordic VC fund manager investing in transformative early-stage life science and health tech companies. Pekka has spent over 25 years with innovative startups in health and life sciences, including digitalization of data capture in clinical trials, cancer radiotherapy, and as founder and CEO in oncology and CNS drug development companies. Pekka has actively supported health & life science teams as mentor and board member and IPO’d two companies. He loves working with passionate founders who want to change the world for the better.

Julie Waras

Julie Waras Brogren serves as Chief Executive Officer of Gedea Biotech, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech sectors. Prior to leading Gedea, she spent six years as Chief Commercial Officer, Deputy CEO, and CFO at Ascelia Pharma, a Malmö-based, Nasdaq-listed company developing orphan oncology therapeutics. Her background also includes serving as President of Canadian medtech company BresoTec, as well as holding key commercial leadership roles and driving global product launches at Novo Nordisk.

Fredrik Meurling

Fredrik Meurling is the CEO and a co-founder of Yazen (Yazen Health), a Swedish digital healthtech company established in 2021. Prior to Yazen, Meurling built a track record across digital healthcare and business leadership, serving as CEO of Vital T and as Chief Financial Officer at Docly Healthcare. Under his leadership, Yazen has scaled beyond Sweden into broader European markets, securing venture funding to expand its digital weight-management platform globally

Anna Gran

Anna Gran brings 15+ years of experience in pharma and biotech: a four-clover of venture investor, pharma buyer, scientist, and launch lead. At Johnson & Johnson and Novo Nordisk she worked in search & evaluation, due diligence, transactions, and alliance management; and lead a commercial oncology blockbuster drug launch in the Nordics. As investor at Sound Bioventures, she evaluated investments from a future buyer’s view, a lens she now brings to biotech founders and boards in her work as an advisor. She started her career by spending nearly a decade in biomedical research in institutions in Finland and the Netherlands.
