Ann‑Charlotte is a trained nurse and market economist with over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship and board roles in growth companies, and more than 5 years as a business angel and external board member in life science and healthtech start-ups.
She helped build Netdoktor as CEO and co-owner, later serving as COO for Bonnier Healthcare Sweden after the acquisition. She also brings 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in sales and marketing, including leading the Swedish launch of Viagra and contributing to Pfizer’s European team.
Anders Fridlund
Anders has over 30 years of international business experience and a strong senior leadership track record, bringing expertise in growth, restructuring, continuous improvement, turnarounds, mergers, innovation, and building successful management teams. He has held roles as CEO, Vice President, Director and Founder, both in Sweden and internationally, including expatriate assignments.
Aaron Gu
Aaron Gu is a leading life sciences attorney with deep expertise in regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters across China and global markets. After nearly eight years at Covington & Burling in Shanghai, Washington D.C., and New York, he joined Han Kun Law Offices, where he advises pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare companies on issues ranging from clinical trials and GxP compliance to licensing, collaborations, and investments.
Aaron has worked with top multinational companies such as AstraZeneca, BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Tencent, and major investment firms.

Andreas Lindblom is the co-founder of Sciety, bringing over 25 years of experience across healthcare, finance, and technology. With degrees in Physiotherapy from Karolinska Institutet and Applied Physics from Stockholm University, he bridges the gap between clinical care and technical innovation. His diverse background includes establishing a premier surgical simulation center and founding a robotic trading firm. Andreas is dedicated to helping Nordic life science companies reach their full potential through strategic growth and mentorship.
Anne Vroon
Anne Vroon is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with a focus on business development and licensing. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Genmab since April 2014, Vroon directs the global BD&L function, managing license-based partnerships that span from discovery to commercial stages. Prior to this role, Vroon held positions such as Senior Director, Director of the Compound Development Team, and Associate Director at Genmab, gaining extensive experience in crossfunctional program management and compound development. Vroon’s earlier career includes significant roles at Cristal Therapeutics and BioMarin Nederland B.V., alongside foundational research positions at UMC Utrecht and Stanford University.

Aisyah is a physician and global health expert specializing in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in drug discovery and development. As Associate Director of Global Business Development for AI platform technologies at Insilico Medicine, she helps organizations worldwide adopt and integrate AI platforms, connecting their strategic needs with cutting-edge technology. She builds transformative partnerships across pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic institutions, accelerating AI-driven drug discovery efforts globally.
Bita Sehat
Bita has more than 15 years of professional experience from both life science R&D and venture capital.
Prior to joining Trill Impact, Bita was an Investment Director at Industrifonden. Her previous experience includes positions such as Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for Battat Inc., a consumer goods company, a consultant position in the health care team at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, the Canadian investment fund. Before that she was a consultant at Foster Rosenblatt Consulting, a forecasting and valuation firm in the pharmaceutical area.
Jacob Lange Moresco
Jacob Lange Moresco is a biotech and life sciences executive currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Gubra A/S. Previously, he was Investment Director at Sunstone Life Science Ventures, where he led and supported investments in European biotech companies. Earlier in his career, he held business development and alliance management roles at LEO Pharma across drug development stages.
Jan Erik Smith
Jan Erik has previously held international roles at the medical technology companies Getinge Group and ABIGO Medical. He currently serves as Vice President at Circius Pharma. He also represents Gobia Enterprises on the boards of several portfolio companies. Jan Erik holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Lund University.
Johan Kördel
Johan Kördel brings over three decades of deep-sector experience to the Life Science ecosystem, spanning academia, pharmaceutical R&D, and venture capital. After a decade as a Senior Partner at a leading VC fund, Johan co-founded Sound Bioventures in 2022, a trans-Atlantic fund dedicated to backing companies that address clear unmet medical needs.
Today, he focuses on clinical-stage investments in Europe and the USA, seeking out experienced management teams and therapies that promise a tangible impact on patient lives.
Johanna Asklin
Johanna has 15 years’ experience in strategy and business development across life science, leading projects in diagnostics and therapeutics at companies such as SAGA Diagnostics, SSI, and LU Innovation. She excels at guiding early-stage ventures to market success and has a broad network in Scandinavian biotech. Johanna holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Bioscience and a PhD in Medicine.
Lao Saal
Dr. Lao Saal, MD/PhD, is founder of SAGA Diagnostics, a 2016 spinout company from Lund University that focuses on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) liquid biopsy testing, and which was recently acquired by Foundation Medicine / Roche for up to 595 MUSD. SAGA’s technologies and simple blood samples are used to risk-stratify patients, monitor response to treatment, and help direct therapeutic choices.
Dr. Saal has MD and PhD degrees from Columbia University (New York) and has trained at the U.S. National Institutes of Health and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and is currently Co-Director of the CIRCE Women’s Cancer Research Center at Lund University as well as Medical Director of DoMore Diagnostics AS, a AI-powered digital pathology biomarker spinout company with lead product in colorectal cancer.
With a focus on cancer genomics, he has published more than 75 articles, including in leading journals such as Nature Genetics, Science, and PNAS, which in total have been cited more than 15,000 times.
Laurent Pacheco
Dr. Laurent Pacheco is an MD/PhD and healthcare investor representing Solas BioVentures and the International Family Offices Alliance for Health (IFOAH). With a career spanning Paris, London, and New York, Dr. Pacheco specializes in bridging the gap between clinical science and diverse capital structures. At Solas, he focuses on early-to-mid-stage biotech and medtech opportunities, while his leadership at IFOAH empowers family offices to engage deeply with the healthcare ecosystem.
A health economist by training and a former consultant for PwC and Syneos Health, he brings a ”360-degree” perspective to healthcare entrepreneurship and market access.

Jan has more than 30 years of investment experience in the life science space. He heads a family office in Denmark with special focus on small cap/medium cap life science companies.
LSIF currently have 10 active investments. Jan is Chairman of the Board in Acarix AB and a board member in AcuCort AB.
Maria Nyåkern
Maria Nyåkern is the founder of and investor at Nyakern Nexus Investments, a family office dedicated to life sciences, medtech, and knowledge-intensive ventures. A former cell biology researcher and entrepreneur, Maria brings over 20 years of expertise in clinical research, regulatory strategy, and international business development.
As the founder of ÅKRN Scientific Consulting (acquired by Archimed/NAMSA in 2022), she has guided companies from early-stage development to commercialization. Her work centers on establishing clinical evidence, optimizing capital efficiency, and navigating the complexities of European regulatory frameworks.
Maria also serves on several global and European expert panels focused on medical technology and AI. Her current research explores the intersection of AI and healthcare, specifically regarding its impact on decision-making, liability, and the evolution of future health innovations.

Nicolas has a career spanning corporate life science roles to serving as CEO of a health tech startup, bringing a hands-on perspective on building and scaling healthcare innovation. He also brings board-level experience, contributing to strategic decision-making in early-stage companies.
Today, he focuses on connecting capital with innovation, building a health tech investor network around Danish startups that spans business angels, family offices, and venture capital. He works closely with founders on fundraising and plays an active role in attracting international investors to the Danish health and medtech ecosystem.
Pablo Prieto
Pablo Prieto is a healthcare manager and entrepreneur who transitioned into healthcare investment, based in Barcelona. Currently he is Managing Director at CG Health Ventures, investing in early-stage medtech and healthtech globally. Its portfolio spans from diagnostics to medical devices and software, and includes over 20 active investments with a strong focus in the USA.
With a background spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices and consulting, he specializes in product and market profiling, digital health, and building teams to develop and commercialize innovative solutions.
Patric Stenberg
Patric Stenberg is the CEO and Co-founder of Gesynta Pharma, a Swedish biotech company developing transformative treatments for endometriosis and chronic pain. With a PhD in Pharmaceutics and over two decades of experience as a scientist, CEO, and business developer, Stenberg bridges the gap between breakthrough academic research and commercial drug development. He has successfully led Gesynta through multiple international financing rounds and currently oversees the clinical advancement of the company’s lead candidate, vipoglanstat.
Sara Al-Dafaee
Sara Al-Dafaee is the CEO & Co-Founder of Nordic Women’s Health Hub, a Denmark-based Nordic NGO accelerating innovation in women’s health. She leads initiatives that unite partners across the region and strengthen women’s health as a strategic focus area. Sara has advised ministries, organisations, and companies on AI, data, and health technology, with a particular focus on data gaps and structural bias in healthcare systems. She represents a new generation of leaders shaping the future of women’s health at the intersection of technology, policy, and societal impact.
Søren Lemonius
Søren Lemonius is Managing General Partner and one of the three co-founders. Søren has particular focus on Investor relations and therapeutics.
Søren has 18 years’ experience from corporate management in R&D-intensive companies. As Innovation Manager at FOSS Analytical (a food diagnostics company), Søren successfully implemented new analytical technologies.
Prior to joining Sunstone, Søren served as Chief Technology Officer at Danionics (an electronic component company) where he participated in developing the company from a private, 30-employee, venture-backed technology company to a EUR +27 million revenue, +300-employee, listed company.
Ton Berkien
Ton Berkien holds a BA degree in economics/business information from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, as well as an LSid from SIMI and from PwC/Harvard Business School/IMD. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Life Science Industry. Berkien has previously held senior business development positions at Amgen, Nuevolution, Takeda and Nycomed. Before that he held positions at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, PwC, KPMG and Gilde Investment Management. Further, he is Chairman of the Board in Gedea Biotech AB and board member in Adjutec Pharma A/S.
Zoe Zhu
Zoe Zhu is a Director at EQT Group based in Hong Kong, where she focuses on early-stage healthcare investments across the region. With over 15 years of investing experience and a sharp eye for innovation, she has backed healthcare innovators globally across the US, Europe, and Asia. Now focused on Asia’s next generation of innovators, she also plays an active role in shaping portfolio companies’ growth strategies particularly around global market expansion and cross-region partnerships.
Åsa Sjöholm Timén
With a 30-year career spanning Big Pharma, biotech, and CROs, Åsa brings an entrepreneurial mindset to business development at AstraZeneca. She has extensive experience in global deal-making, specializing in late-stage licensing, divestments, and strategic partnerships, and leading deal teams through complex negotiations to create win-win outcomes.
A PhD in organic chemistry informs her deep scientific perspective, which she also applies to the AstraZeneca Exchange Business Mentoring programme, supporting the next generation of life science entrepreneurs in Sweden. For Åsa, the ultimate goal of every transaction is simple: delivering a positive, lasting impact for patients worldwide.
