Genmab har stoppat patientrekryteringen till en fas I/II-studie med cancerkandidaten GEN1286, en bispecifik ADC som tillkom genom förvärvet av ProfoundBio för 1,8 miljarder dollar. Studien har enligt uppdaterad information endast inkluderat 23 av planerade 260 patienter och klassas nu som aktiv men utan nyrekrytering. Beslutet sker i ljuset av att Genmab nyligen förvärvade Merus, som utvecklar en liknande läkemedelskandidat, samtidigt som fokus från ProfoundBio-affären ligger kvar på fas III-projektet rinatabart sesutecan.
